FUNDRAISING

Building up project funds to purchase additional properties for future housing.
​The Arrowtarian Senior Citizens Society Phase V building project was completed February 2021 thanks to the generosity of many local and national organizations, and community members.
Donations going forward will be used for future housing projects. Our goal is to cover as much of the construction costs as possible so as to make the rents as affordable as possible for our tenants.

There are many ways to give

  • Donate as a Group. Families, friends, businesses, societies or associations can get together to donate as a group and be recognized in the community.
  • Make a One Time Donation: This can be a one time donation of a figure of your choosing.
  • Support a Fundraising Campaign: We'll inform the community of upcoming events.
  • A Memorial Gift: Honor a loved one with a permanent legacy.
  • Bequest Giving: A gift in your Will, sometimes referred to as a bequest or legacy gift, is a way for you to ensure that the causes you care deeply about are supported in the future.  Your estate will receive a tax receipt for the full value of your gift.
  • Spread the word!  Talk to your colleagues and places of employment. Challenge other families & friends to match or exceed your donation!

    How to Donate

  • Donations are accepted by personal or business cheques, made payable to Arrowtarian Senior Citizens Society, P.O. Box 688, Nakusp, BC, V0G 1R0.​​ or by eTransfer to [email protected] 
  • ​We are also grateful to receive in-kind donations. Contractors and other wishing to make in-kind contributions are asked to contact the Arrowtarian office at:  250-265-2020
  • Tax receipts are given to all donations over $20.​In BC, the tax credit is (in general) approximately 20% of the first $200 and 43% of amounts above that).  
  • ​All funds raised will go towards the Arrowtarian Rotary Villa Phase building projects​​
